Those few months were full of 12 year old girl birthday parties, sleep overs and the like. I liked Danika's sense of style, she had beautiful hair, a room and wardrobe to die for, and I guess best of all she was a good influence. I remember what would have been my 13th birthday (I was a year older than everyone else because of the NSW to QLD move) and Danika gave me the coolest present - a canvas Sportsgirl bag. It was before I knew much about Sportsgirl and it held much prestige in the pre-teen market back then.
We parted ways shortly after going to high school, mainly because we went to different ones with new circles of friends. I've waved to her parent's at my parent's local shopping centre, most recently.
