I'm grateful to have people around like Alex. On occasion she met with me for career advice and guidance. She also interviewed me for a role that would have been a bit of a dream job (not freelance) for me many years ago. I wasn't successful but was happy for the chance to apply. Success in the film industry relies a lot on networking and it's great that people like Alex make the process easier.
